¹⁶ As we were going to ^(C)the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had ^(D)a spirit of ^(E)divination and ^(F)brought her owners much gain by fortune-telling. ¹⁷ She followed Paul and us, ^(G)crying out, “These men are ^(H)servants^[a] of ^(I)the Most High God, who proclaim to you ^(J)the way of salvation.”
